Lillian May

Lillian is a 3 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback. She shares our home in Westmere with 2 cats and 3 humans and loves all Jimbos fresh food especially triple mix but really isn’t fussy as long as it’s meat! She is generally a placid family dog but this last weekend escaped from a friend’s back yard and had a wild excursion for 28 hours around the Westmere - Pt Chev area, driving us into a frenzy of search and rescue. We had 100 posters around the neighbourhood, messages on the radio, notices on various websites and friends and family on bikes and in cars scouring central Auckland. Finally an observant dog walker at Meola Reef spotted her in the distance heading out to sea and we managed to get out there and call her back before she vanished forever. She is now safely ensconced back home and we are gradually recovering!
