I just had to share my story about my sweet little cat Ellie-mae, sadly she hasa very painful mouth condition called gingivitis stomatis, which is treatedwith very high dosage of steroids, as it is hard for her to eat and this keepsit from being quite so painful, she also has now developed a mammary tumour.

Getting Ellie to eat for the last two years has been extremely difficult, and ihave to give her lots of pats and coaxing, which has worked as she has managedto maintain her weight.

The point of my writing to you is i have now discovered Jimbos Steak andkidney,i wanted to try this for her, to give her a change and see if she couldin fact eat it,apart from a few hardish bits she just loves this, and i havemade it in to small portions for her and put it in the freezer, Jimbos has beena life saver literally, thanks for making such a great product.

Ellie is scheduled for surgery on Tuesday for a dental to remove two bad teethand to remove the tumour which we do not know if it is benign or cancerous, iam sure she will be looking forward to a treat of Jimbos when she isable.

This boy is called Rocky.Rockys a 6 month old Itallian Bull Mastiff crossed with an English Bull Terrier, he was tiiiiiiiny when we first brought him home but hes boardering on 30kilos now! About 3 days after we got him my boyfriend accidently stood on him in the dark and broke his leg L after 2 months of almost daily visits to the vets he finally got his cast off and couldnt wait to chase Kitty around the house. Rocky loves his chew toys, children and walks in the park.

This is Jake he is a Havana Oriental 6 years old.He lives with our poodles and his diet is dry biscuits and mainly Jimbo,s beef which is the only food he will eat..A local supermarket shelf was empty once they told me jimbo's was out of stock ,my reply was you are telling me there are no cows left in the country.You can imagine how stupid she felt. I did have to quitely chuckle to myself as did the other customers that heard.

Maddy, she is called that because she is a madam, when and in her own time, and that includes cuddles, she also had a bad start to life. Loves to hop on the bench and watch you cook tea, gets a drink from the sink, toilet, as her own rules, always there when you get home. She loves to play with Doug in fact she is a Dad's girl, follows him everywhere.Both cat's love to be in the garden with us, not they are much help, but give us such a laugh and great enjoyment. Buddy, he is his own man, cuddly, Mum's boy, vacum cleaner when it comes to food, very loyal, chat's to us, and always say's meow when he comes inside, in fact he will come in look for us say hello, rub himself up against us then off to the food bowl. Got the loudest purrr I have ever heard. Does not like strangers, runs and hides, I adopted him from a family that abused him rather badly. We spoil him and love him to bits. Buddy loves everything, including sitting in my grasses as per pic, sorry it came out up the wrong way. Buddy is nine years old.Buddy like Jimbos Steak and Kidney!

Issy is about 10 months old, we got her from the Humane Society. She adores 12 year old Devon and they are great mates. She tries so hard to be friends with the 5 cats we have; all but one were strays, and we made sure from the start she knew the cats were boss but we neednt have bothered, the cats have done that for themselves. Poor Issy cavorts around them, making silly noises, tail wagging furiously and trying to entice them to play but there is no way that is ever going to happen. Mostly they just ignore her but Diesel, an old ginger cat regularly beats her up and it is common to see poor Issy come flying along to us for protection flying on her bum in grovel position (think carpet burn) with a furious Diesel after her hissing and swiping. She is a lovely natured dog with a penchant for eating pens and pencils but never objects as we ram a hand into her mouth to haul the bits out while she gags and chokes. She also knows that when she is called ISOBEL she is in trouble (usually for stealing plants out the garden) and firstly she will vanish then a few moments later come grovelling back on her belly, bum in the air, tail wagging furiously. We get a lot of fun and love out of Issy despite me thinking she was an awful ugly dog when Devon first showed me a photo of her!

Chicken frames are great to feed to dogs that suffer with allergies. They can be fed whole to allow the dog to rip and chew at them. They are soft enough to be eaten entirely, leaving no waste. These can be cooked but cooking will destroy many of the essential nutrients so we suggest feeding raw.

Pixel is a wee boy, he is 3 years old (Born February 2007) and is a Devon Rex - Black Smoke colour. The breeders say these cats are a cross between a cat, a dog and a monkey, and it's so true!

One of my favourite things about Pixel is that he fetches just like a dog! He will fetch with a screwed up piece of paper (A5 is his favourite) or a peg, or a teddy, or one of his small mouse toys. He will even drop the screwed up paper onto my coffee table so it's easier for me to pick up and throw again for him! He's a very smart boy, so it's impossible to trick him. You can't tease him with a piece of string, as he will bite your hand! He knows all the tricks!

But he is very well behaved and even knows lots of commands like "out," "no," "inside," and "come," and he will come immediately when I call out "treat, treat, treat" because he knows I've got something special for him. He has his own bed (underneath the TV so he thinks everyone is watching him) and it has an electric blanket as well. He has such short hair that he gets very cold, so having his own snugly bed tends to keep him out of mine, mostly!

One thing with Devon Rex's is that you don't ever own them, you just live together. And Pixel is very much a member of my family. He has amazing intuition and knows when I'm sick even before I do. I'm very lucky that he has adopted me :)

Mr Sooty is approx 4 years old. He was born in the barn in a neighbours paddock. He selected us to be his family and just moved in. A quick trip to the vet followed. Attached is a photo of my nine year old German Shepherd, Aachan. He came to me at almost three years old with skin, stomach and allergy problems. Literally for years my vet(s) recommended different dried foods and nothing seemed to work. Then we found out he is chicken intolerant. He was changed onto a brand that was soy based with no chicken but his ears still kept getting inflamed and sore. I made the decision to try him on a fresh food diet and started buying Jimbos and veges. He has never looked back. No more upset tummies, no more sore ears, no more diarrohea. His coat shines, he is happy and alert and has never been better. I am not being paid to say this. It's absolutely true.

Lucky chose us as his parents in October 2000 because it was my partner's birthday and we had lost our family cat a few months earlier. Lucky was residing in "the Cat House" at the SPCA ,Gisborne, where the organisation kept a dozen adult cats for people like us who didn't want a kitten. Dave picked up every cat in the room and then picked up Lucky and said "This is our cat!"He chose him because he has a lovely face and you do look at that very often. We both noticed that he had very big white feet!Since then we have been his servants! He is a great catcher of frogs, mice, small rats and any kind of beatle that moves. He oogles birds but he is far too obvious in colour and not quite fast enough to catch them. Now his favourite occupation is resting in the sunshine on the carpet or his dralon chair. He eats often and sleeps on a hot water bottle in our bed at night. We are well trained !Now he is ten years old and he has heard of retirement! The heat pump is just the thing but the even temperature now means he has lost the big ginger ruff he used to have around his neck in winter. He keeps the very best of health, he has never been injured and only sees the Vet for shots. Last time he weighed 7 1/2 kilos and the Vet said "He's fat!" Dave looked horrified and replied "Oh, no, that's just fur1"When visitors used to come he would disappear for hours. Now, he greets them first,before we can get there, looks them up and down, picks out anyone that dosen't like cats and insists on sitting on them. Then he goes off to inspect their vehicle by sniffing every wheel, door and the boot. Sadly he can't tell us what information he gleens. He has a very does everything but talk and he has a very loud meow.Food - well that is the staff of life ! He eats raw meat, chicken and fish twice a day and biscuit from an automatic feeder when ever he wants to. A fellow must keep his strength up ! No other cats are allowed on our property and he is on guard when ever we dare to go out. TV is a bit of a bore and best ignored while he curls up on one of us and goes to sleep till it is official bed time.John Banks once said that if he had to come back to this earth again he would like to be a male Siamese cat. Well, I think Lucky has the pattern of the perfect life for a cat !

My parents rescued a cat from the Waihi SPCA about 8 months ago. He is a very forward cat, nosey, noisy and surprisingly clumsy. Of an afternoon Winston will come into our office and make a royal pain of himself. If you stand up, before you blink he’s on your chair looking like he’d been there for hours. He must make muddy paw prints on any nice white paper that might be on your desk and if you think typing might be fun – Winston will walk right across your keyboard mid sentence. He likes to jump from floor level to the top of the reception desk and will always send something flying. Now that the weather is cooling down he has taken to having a nap in the document feeder of the photocopy machine. I can’t wait to see the look of wonderment on the technicians face when he next comes to clean as I’m sure there will be copies amounts of Winston Fur that have wound their way into machine.

After getting some vouchers at a cat show last year for Jimbo's cat food which I spent at my local supermarket I have been buying Jimbo's ever since as Basil really loves it. A couple of years ago, when I took him to the vet for his injections, she weighed him and it appeared he was a few kilos overweight so she put him on a low fat diet. This seemed to work for awhile, but, when I took him back a few months later, and she weighed him, he was more than he was with that first weigh-in. (He was a massive 6.5 kg. Shortly after that I caught him paying a visit to another apartment in my apartment building as there are two other cats here. He was double dipping! It took a year before I managed to get his weight down to a reasonable level that more or less satisfied both the vet and myself (5.45). That was in January last year. Unfortunately I could not get him to the vet again until early January this year, but discovered he was a massive 7.3kg, so am trying desperately to get his weight down again.

My cats name is Mr Wiggles, he is one of four kittens from an unwanted litter, I rescued all four kittens and persuaded my mother to take 2 of the kittens and I kept the other 2, his sister is grey, they dont get along much. Mr Wiggles sleeps with my dogs a huntaway and my new great dane puppy, cute to see all three sharing the blanket. I swear he thinks hes a dog. Mr wiggles or wigs for short is about 5 years old, hes got a great life on my farm with my 7 other cats.

Lillian is a 3 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback. She shares our home in Westmere with 2 cats and 3 humans and loves all Jimbos fresh food especially triple mix but really isnt fussy as long as its meat! She is generally a placid family dog but this last weekend escaped from a friends back yard and had a wild excursion for 28 hours around the Westmere - Pt Chev area, driving us into a frenzy of search and rescue. We had 100 posters around the neighbourhood, messages on the radio, notices on various websites and friends and family on bikes and in cars scouring central Auckland. Finally an observant dog walker at Meola Reef spotted her in the distance heading out to sea and we managed to get out there and call her back before she vanished forever. She is now safely ensconced back home and we are gradually recovering!

Absolutely mans best friend - even now with a newborn and a 3 year old nothing phases him. He is only 4.5 but I took him to the dog park in May and threw a ball down the hill and he snapped his cruciate. Ever since then his face went white and he stopped looking like a puppy and turned into looking like an old dog (still behaves like a puppy though!). I changed his diet to a raw food diet and he is thriving again now. Its pretty amazing to have a service like yours where the food gets delivered to the door!

At the front of the picture (with Pinkcollar) is Mabel who is 9 years old and runs the household.She used to have an older brother called Mac who she totally adored and after we sadly lost him she pined terribly. As a result we got Teddy (back of the picture) who has just turned 1 and is still a total puppy-brain. He likes nothing better than launching (not very) sneak attacks on Mabel who has decided that while she might have been pining for Mac she'd rather have had a new squeaky toy than a little brother! On the plus side she does enjoy her new hobby of taking anything Teddy is playing with off him and then chasing him out of the room when he tries to get it back.

Although after 5 minutes of being there, hes ready to go home and sitting by the car with his paw on the door waiting to get in.Licking the cat (Have a Himalayan Persian), who usually ends up smelling like dog and soggy because hes licked her from head to toe. Crazy thing is she wanders up to him, backs up and if he doesnt lick her starts screeching.Would rather play with a used toilet roll than any of the fancy dog toys.Wakes me up in the morning, if Ive slept in and forgotten to set the alarm, which is a life-saver except during the weekends, when I want to sleep in. Hi, my husband and I moved into our home in Fairfield, Hamilton last June, in July our daughter moved in with her very malnourished cat, Madam, who had previously survived on one small (dip sized) bowl of biscuits each week. Two weeks later she invited another very underfed stray who had made his home under the house during the previous month - we took pity on him, continued to feed him and watch him build confidence and trust in us. "Boots" is now a healthy, loving member of our family. Some months ago after buying some Jimbo's on special and supplementing their usual diet made the complete switch to Jimbos, supplementing with fresh fish and sardines. Since then the health of both cats has improved tremendously with Madam now eagerly tucking into every meal, and physically able to run, jump and play while Boots no longer 'binges' on all food - both now have beautiful soft, glossy coats that have to be seen and felt to be believed. I do confess we did try an inferior brand and had to give it to the cat at work as neither animal would touch it - it has to be Jimbo's but given how healthy they are compared to one year ago, we are happy to provide it. Thank you so much for providing an affordable, premium product that has allowed us to give our 'family' back the healthy lives they deserve. I have never seen a more content dog than one who is happily munching on a bone.

Puss - Girl I found this cat which was very skinny about 10 years ago! She was a stray and I first started feeding her out on the back deck. I was calling her puss. I come home after working night shift & could not find her but eventually I found my husband was asleep with this cat who was also sound asleep cuddled up next to him. Took her to the vet for a checkup and other than being very thin she cat was healthy & puss has never left my side since. Follows me everywhere! Puss will not sleep on anyone else's lap - only mine. Puss does not like having her photo taken as everyone can see by the picture. I do love her to bit's!

This is out cat Hero, we adopted him from the Cats in Need Trust on 8th July. Hero is deaf and he has become a wonderful if not somewhat very demanding member of our family. I have just found out that you had sent to Hospice 5 pottles of my favourite food last month and that this will be a regular occurrence!! Woohoo! I simply refuse to eat anything else as it pales in comparison so from the bottom of my stomach (and its a rather saggy one!) I say thank you, thank you, thank you.I have so much work to do here comforting patients and families and keeping them company that I have a huge appetite. I practically own the place and make sure everyone knows this, I come and go as I please and love getting people to open doors for me, it keeps me amused!Have a purrfect weekend.

This is Bema (yes, after a BMW, my family are car nutters!!), he is my huge Pretty Kitty. He ran away last year, my family and I were very distraught, we put up posters and sent out flyers, but the phone never rang. 4 months later, I had given up hope that he would come home, so I was talking with my partner about giving all the food / bikkies to my mum for her cats. Lucky I didnt as 2 days later, a very skinny, scraggly looking Bema appeared at the front door. I gave him the canned food and bikkies in the cupboard as that was all I had. He had left as a healthy boy, the only thing I could think of to get some meat back on his bones was protein. So, that is when he started getting Jimbos for him. He LOVES it!! And is healthy once again. I weighed him last week, 7kgs!! Hes not a fat cat though. He is an absolute snuggler, as soon as I sit down, hes up on my lap, or when I go to bed, he sleeps on my tummy or snuggles in and puts his head on the pillow!! He is absolutely full of character, and has a shoe fetish, he doesnt nibble then or anything, just likes to cuddle with them!! He really is a Cool Cat haha.

Hobson is lovely black & white boy. He's a bit of a schizo at times but I still love him and I know he loves me. He's 11 now. He loves running through the paddocks at a million miles an hour. He loves to eat Jimbos steak & kidney and would much rather I hand feed him as he loves being spoilt. Holly is my gorgeous girl and she's 9. She's a tortoiseshell and she has the most amazingly soft coat. She's also the most affectionate cat I've ever had or met. Holly loves pigging out on Jimbos steak & kidney plus bikkies. She's also rather partial to bones - maybe she should've been a dog!

I have attached you pictures of Luca :) Most of the pics are from the beach, he goes everyday and he lovves the beach)Luca went to his weekly weigh in today and he gained another 100g... woops! He did get a bath though today!Luca is a 5year old Golden Retriever who recently became a Jimbo's addict. After trying Jimbo's I'm pretty sure there's no way we can go to anything else. He knows when I open the Jimbo's container and runs straight to the Kitchen. His favorite Jimbo's product would probably be the veal bones though! He chews and gnawed on the bone until its pretty much gone. I througrougly recommend it to all the dg owners out there. Luca and I would really like to thank the Jimbo's team, they have been giving the both of us support and kindness through the whole new RAW experience thing ;) I cant wait to try the Jimbo's sausauge!

Tigger plays fetch, begs for food, reaches up for cuddles and sleeps in odd stretched out positions...as attached. Tigger is one crazy cat.Tigger loves Jimbos and wishes to thank you for the free sample that he received in the post, which made him become a dedicated Jimbos customer.Tigger is an extreme character, in the morning when I am getting ready for work he is up on the bathroom vanity admiring himself in the mirror. We do not know where he gets his charismatic personality from, but he is definitely a much loved member of our family.

My two dogs are called Mischa (the chocolate roan bitch) and Kelly (the blue roan dog). They are litter brother and sister and are two years old. Some of the things that they do are:1) they do everything together ie if one goes for a drink of water then the other one will go as well2) All of the toys are Mischas (they arent really but she thinks that they are!!!) this is probably because she is the girl and Kelly is a very laid back boy3) When running along the beach they body slam each other (bump into each other) and this makes them go faster or else they will just look at each other and know what the other one is thinking and go off together 4) Mischa loves to retrieve and Kelly loves to play with his rope (play ropey) see enclosed picture he goes gets his rope and stand pathetically with it until we play with him5) Mischa is a very busy wee girl and has to do everything at 100 miles per hour. She is very social and nosey where as Kelly is much more laid back6) Kelly is a clumsy boy and 2 weeks ago he broke my front tooth by whipping his head around fast and connecting his tooth with my front tooth7) Mischa doesnt bark very often (Kelly is quite expressionable) but if she wants Kelly outside then she will Woof and he will run outside to help her.(a gallant knight) This is a trick that she uses often if they are on their mats inside and chewing rawhide bones - she will go outside and woof he will run outside, she will race back inside and grab his bone (that he will have dropped in his haste to go outside and help her) he falls for this trick every time!!!8) Both are bird mad - Mischa in particular. We have a property in Rotorua so go down there often and they love to run and swim at the lakes, fetch sticks from the water and fascinated with the bird life

My name is Angela Lucich and I would like to be put in the draw for the Goody bag, attached are some photo's of my dog Schultz, he is 7yrs old and he is eating the stew I make him which has your chicken mince and chicken necks in it and I also add water, brown rice, mixed vege's, chicken stock and marmite.I took him to the vet last month for his yearly shots and the vet was very impressed, he said he is in really good condition and that he hasn't seen a Shepard in that good a condition in a long time, and I put it down to what I feed him, I told that vet what I cook for him and what is in it and he said making your own stew is excellent for animals as you know what is in it not like rolls and tined food anything could be in those.

This photo was taken about 8 years ago when I asked my parents to look after my cat while I was overseas. They were amused that he always sat on a chair at their breakfast bar and it looked like he was waiting for his dinner. So they put a bib on him and his plate in front of him and took a photo which they then had made into a calendar and gave it to me for Christmas. I knew nothing of it until I unwrapped the calendar, and have kept the photo long after the calendar has finished. He is ready to eat his Jimbos and still does today.

All 3 dogs are rescue dogs, Jayke came from the SPCA aged 3months & he's nearly 6yrs. Sheba & Chloe were both adopted from German Shepherd Rescue. Sheba was 3weeks old when she arrived with her littler brothers after losing their mum, she is now nearly 5yrs. Chloe came into Rescue as a very frightened 5month old pup, scarred of her own shadow as well as people. She has just turned 4yrs & is doing obedience & agility. Attached are photos of my half Persian cats - Jimbo and Tiffie, brother and sister.They were given to me by my partner as belated Christmas gift in February 2007 when they were only 6 weeks old. He named the boy, "Jimbo" (this is before we got to know your brand) and I named the girl, "Tiffany" - but we call her "Tiffy".Jimbo loves eating and is a bit overweight but is unbelievably skittish for his size. He gets scared at just about everything and runs for cover even when "we" come home!!! He acts like a dog sometimes and loves to play with sticks, including fetching sticks, and has a number of sticks, which regularly go missing!Tiffie is such a graceful cat. She is almost always placid and loves to be groomed. When I say, "brush, brush", she runs from nowhere and sits on my lap to be brushed. She is very patient and does not stop eye contact until someone brushes her. She also greets me in the same spot when I come home from work but never in fact stays long enough for me to greet back. She would start walking away as soon as she has made sure it's me!!!Tiffie is, despite her graceful demeanour, is a hopeless at jumping/aiming which is very odd for a cat. But it all makes her so so adorable.They have many favourite spots around the house but it is not hard to find them because of their distinct trait - white hair!! ]]> Please find attached photos of my British Shorthair cat "Miyagi-san".

He is named after Pat Moreta's character in the Karate Kid movies, due to
his "wise and philosphical" expression (and his Tai Chi inspired speed).
This is a cat who loves to take a nap before bedtime and makes sure he gets
in a good snooze after waking up!! ;-).

He particularly likes the Hearty beef and the Steak n Kidney.

At 6.5 kilo's he's a reasonably big cat - but not overweight for a British
Short hair. The Jimbo's meat keeps him in good shape and a tub lasts him
about 4 or 5 days in summer and 3 to 4 days in winter.

My husband came home with a little baby kitten September 2007, which was approx a couple of days old. This was found on his work compound at the airport. He gave me a shoe box and when I opened it there was this tiny tiny ball of fur. Now 18 months later this little ball of fur has grown into a mischievous young cat, who still has a wild streak sometimes and then other times is as loving as one could wish. We feed her constantly through the nights and my husband took her to work during the day, it is a miracle that this little one survived, but now she rules!!

Tripe is the stomach of ruminating animals. The animal that tripe comes from has had to use enzymes and gastric juices to break down the grass and hay that it eats. These juices and enzymes helps our canine friends in the same way when they eat the tripe. The amino acids are important for muscular development while the gastric juices help with removing tartar from teeth.
This product can be quite smelly to use and is obviously green in colour.

NB: For those of you who would like to feed some green tripe to their dogs but dont like the thought of handling it, have a look at our K9 frozen sausges. We use green tripe in this product along with chicken frames etc... Its a great way to get some green tripe into your dogs diet without having to handle it yourself.
