Brian Barou - Maine Coon

This beautyl is Dianes cat,Brian Barou. Barou is three and a half and is fan of Jimbo's. He has a fabulous personality, very human, very intelligent. If one of the windows is left open, Barou will jump out and walk around the roof of the three storied house. His name of Brian Barou means 'warrior'. Diane just calls him Barou.

Katie is a three year old cat from Rangiora. She was adopted from the SPCA after being found in an abandoned house ready to be pulled down. She has been in Christchurch cat shows in the last two years and the end result for one of them was that she came 6th in Nz and the next year she came 7th. In this photo, Katie is trying to hide her ears under the chair cushion.

Hi Sheryl, it's me --- Cougar ( the formal photo is me before my Jimbo's Supreme treat, the other one ---- well what can I say?), I am told that I am a Osso / Abby cross and have just turned 8 of your years old. I was born in a barn, then one day two people came in, I kept a close eye on them, after two visits I decided that they could adopt me, I was just 5 mths old, Well here we are together, was a battle to train them at first but they are getting better with time, I have my own small patch in West Auckland, it has some gardens and a few small trees, just great for my claws,I love watching birds and all moving things, I some times bring them in thru my door and give them to "Mum & Dad".Ohhhhh well think I'm getting tired must be time for another "Jimbo's" treat and then a sunny spot for a sleep, and remember I sit on Dad's knee and watch closely what he puts on this com--thing in front of us,(I can read but don't tell them) "Jimbo's" I love you,

After getting some vouchers at a cat show last year for Jimbo's cat food which I spent at my local supermarket I have been buying Jimbo's ever since as Basil really loves it. A couple of years ago, when I took him to the vet for his injections, she weighed him and it appeared he was a few kilos overweight so she put him on a low fat diet. This seemed to work for awhile, but, when I took him back a few months later, and she weighed him, he was more than he was with that first weigh-in. (He was a massive 6.5 kg. Shortly after that I caught him paying a visit to another apartment in my apartment building as there are two other cats here. He was double dipping! It took a year before I managed to get his weight down to a reasonable level that more or less satisfied both the vet and myself (5.45). That was in January last year. Unfortunately I could not get him to the vet again until early January this year, but discovered he was a massive 7.3kg, so am trying desperately to get his weight down again.

My cats name is Mr Wiggles, he is one of four kittens from an unwanted litter, I rescued all four kittens and persuaded my mother to take 2 of the kittens and I kept the other 2, his sister is grey, they don’t get along much. Mr Wiggles sleeps with my dogs a huntaway and my new great dane puppy, cute to see all three sharing the blanket. I swear he thinks he’s a dog. Mr wiggles or wigs for short is about 5 years old, he’s got a great life on my farm with my 7 other cats.

Lillian is a 3 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback. She shares our home in Westmere with 2 cats and 3 humans and loves all Jimbos fresh food especially triple mix but really isn’t fussy as long as it’s meat! She is generally a placid family dog but this last weekend escaped from a friend’s back yard and had a wild excursion for 28 hours around the Westmere - Pt Chev area, driving us into a frenzy of search and rescue. We had 100 posters around the neighbourhood, messages on the radio, notices on various websites and friends and family on bikes and in cars scouring central Auckland. Finally an observant dog walker at Meola Reef spotted her in the distance heading out to sea and we managed to get out there and call her back before she vanished forever. She is now safely ensconced back home and we are gradually recovering!

This is my female cat India. India is 13 years and 7 months old. She loves sleeping beside the computer and going outside to explore the garden. India loves food but is yet to try Jimbos cat food. Regards and purrs from Rowena and India
